The Law and Orders continue to spawn and this time they're taking the British sci-fi people with them. Check out this preview of Law & Order: UK starring Battlestar's Jamie Bamber and Doctor Who's Freema Agyeman.
Rumor has it Law and Order: UK likely will air in the U.S. at some point. The show is already better than the original for one simple reason: judges in wigs! Awesome.

I am SO excited about this show (never seen the originals, okay, so don't judge me) because I'm looking forward to Freema have a decent, meaty role at last...
Oh hello! This is fantastic! I'm totally on board with this show and can't wait to see it.
I really hope that someone in the US picks this up. I might actually watch this one as opposed to the 50 other versions. Plus, really, is there ever enough Bamber? You know Callis will end up guest starring on it at some point too, and then it can be the Gaius and Apollo show (I see Callis as a really slick lawyer (wait, do they call them esquires over there?) or a total socio path).
I mean the only episodes I"ve watched of our Law and Orders in the last year were cos Sackoff and Trucco were on (Trucco was amazing, Sackoff didn't get enough screen time).
It looks great! But, yeah, I'm going to keep expecting to hear that swishing sound the TARDIS makes whenever Freema's on-screen...
I just want to hear Apollo's accent...mmmm
Black Eye Gurl, I'm hoping someone picks it up, too. I've never been able to sit through an American version of L&O but I think I'd actually like this one.
Michele, I'm keen to see Freema get a big role too. I always liked her as Martha.
Apollo/ Martha. *Squee*
That said, I don't watch law and order since the SVU episode where they managed to imply that all WOC are lying prostitutes out to get the virtuous white dudes. Gah.
