- Photos from the new Star Trek movie. The bridge looks so sex-ay! More photos here.
- This video has likely been around for a while but it was new to me...and in the words of Barney, "It. Is. Awesome." How I Met Your Mother's Jason Segal and god-like love muffin Neil Patrick Harris doing the Jean Valjean/Inspector Javert confrontation song from "Les Miserables." Gold. Pure gold.

Oh, my god. The Confrontation song has me literally in tears. SO GOOD.
Wow...I thought people spontaneously breaking out in song only happened on the screen and in theaters! Awesome. Jason Segal sings a really funny Dracula song in Forgetting Sarah Silverman. He was adorable and has a decent voice.
Jason Segel sings? That's pretty cool.
Notice in the Star Trek photo that is, in fact, Karl Urban as Bones McCoy in the blue tunic. There's another photo on EW.com that shows him more close up - they really, REALLY managed to tamp down his good looks.
So sad! Why would you tamp down Karl Urban's looks? Swoon.
Jason Segal's Dracula puppet play in Forgetting Sarah Silverman is hilarious!
Jason Segal cracks me up completely. I loved Dracula in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and any time he sings a little ditty on HIMYM, it's just great. He and Neil together is pretty much nirvana.
"God-like love muffin Neil Patrick Harris" - niiice work, Liz. There sure is satisfaction in finding just the right words to describe something. Like calling Christopher Guest's Five-Fingered-Man "unctuous," or David Tennant "humpable."
Deeply held moral convictions, a sense of loss over what MTV once was, and general lazy impatience with long loading times prevent me from seeing the pictures. I feel left out of the geekeyloop - how did I miss this?! A new Star Trek movie? With baby Kirk and crew? If we're going back in time to baby Kirk, do we get to see his blinkiness Captain Pike?! Excited!
That video is SO AWESOME. Now I love those two guys even more. Thanks for pointing it out!!
Oh. My. GOD. The Confrontation video made me fall off my chair! I watched it three times before I could pull myself together to thank you for finding that! It's too good.
