I saw Evil Dead: The Musical and, um, it was AWESOME.
Really? I'm so jealous. Where did you see it?
So did I! It's been in Toronto (Canada) for ages, and it's fantastic. I sat in the splatter zone and got thoroughly soaked with blood. It was incredibly hilarious. I hadn't heard of the Sam Raimi movie though, that IS exciting news.
I saw it in New York 2 Christmases ago with Aaron and his brothers. We did not sit in the splash zone, it's way campier than it is scary, and when Ash intoned "This is my boom stick!" the place went absolutely wild.
I've seen it TWICE, and I got to sit in the Splatter Zone both times.
A movie of a play of a movie. In 3D. That's the best thing ever.
Oh I'm glad you heard about Stephen Colbert. I saw the news and thought about emailing you to let you know, as it is most worthy geek news.
