I get to throw things at Dawn!

This Friday night, my local art house movie theater is debuting the Buffy Musical Sing-Along. I am thrilled to the tips of my little pink toes. I understand this has grown to near Rocky Horror Picture Show proportions, and I've also heard that I get to shout rude things at Dawn, both of which please me equally.

Have any of you been to the Buffy Sing-Along? What can I expect? Should I wear a helmet of any sort? And most importantly, should I bring my action figures?

Absolutely! There will be much recapping. I bought my tickets yesterday and am counting the minutes.

Having been at a Buffy Sing-a-long at the Alamo Drafthouse, here in Austin, I can tell you that it is an utterly surreal experience.

G'wan. Dress up as your favorite vampire. Or cast member. Make the quotes. Sing the songs. Dance the dance.

Everyone there will UNDERSTAND YOU. :)

That sounds so great. If I had money to burn, I would totally rent a giant white bunny costume and go as Anya in Fear, Itself. As it is, I'll go the cheap way and just do Tara's part in the big dance at the end, when Amber Benson accidentally walks into a pylon. That's gonna be my shtick!
